Product safety information

At Shays Learning Lab, we create sensory play materials and learning activities with care. We strive to use non-toxic materials whenever possible; however, non-toxic does not mean allergy-free, taste-safe, or safe for every child.

Our sensory fillers and activity materials may include small pieces, food-based items, painted items, craft materials, or loose parts. These items may be a choking hazard and are not intended for children under 3 years old.

Adult supervision is required at all times. Children should never be left alone while using sensory bins, sensory fillers, loose parts, activity kits, or learning materials.

Please check all product materials before use. Some children may have allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients, including but not limited to rice, pasta, chickpeas, beans, paint, dye, glue, plastic pieces, or craft materials. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure the product is safe and appropriate for their child, classroom, or group.

By purchasing from Shays Learning Lab, you understand and agree that:

• All products are for supervised play only.
• Products may contain small parts and possible choking hazards.
• Products are not for eating or placing in the mouth.
• The buyer is responsible for checking for allergies, sensitivities, and age-appropriate use.
• The buyer assumes all responsibility for the use of the product after purchase.
• Shays Learning Lab is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, misuse, choking, ingestion, damage, or accidents that may occur during use.

Please discard any damaged, broken, or worn pieces immediately. Always store sensory materials out of reach of children when not in use.

Recommended age: 3 years and up, unless otherwise stated on the product listing.
